Terms of service
These terms apply whenever you use Veritas Auto.
The service
Veritas Auto produces vehicle valuation reports from the details, photographs and diagnostic answers you supply, combined with live South African market data. Reports are generated per vehicle, or under an active monthly subscription.
Accuracy and reliance
A valuation is a professional estimate, not a guarantee of sale price and not a mechanical or roadworthy inspection. Accuracy depends on the completeness and honesty of the information and photographs you provide. Final transacted prices are set between buyer and seller.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that you are entitled to submit the vehicle details and photographs you upload, that they depict the vehicle being valued, and that your diagnostic answers are truthful. Misrepresenting condition invalidates the report.
Payments and subscriptions
Single reports are charged at the published price for the vehicle category before the valuation runs. Subscriptions bill monthly through PayPal until cancelled, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Refunds
If a report fails to generate because of a fault on our side, contact support and we will re-run it or refund the charge. Reports that completed correctly are not refundable on the basis of disagreement with the value.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it, resell reports as your own product without agreement, or upload unlawful content. Accounts in breach may be suspended.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
